(1-22-26) Mitchell Oldenburg suffered a broken arm after going down hard in Q2 at San Diego. He had surgery the following Tuesday and is expected to be off the bike for a couple of months. This is a tough blow for team Beta as they have now already lost both of their riders before the 3rd round of the series!

(1-22-26)

Garrert Marchbanks missed San Diego after struggling at the opening round in Anaheim. Apparently he was dealing with a head injury and was unable to clear concussion protocol. This was not from his crash in the lcq but rather a practice crashing during the week in between rounds. Look for Garrett to return for A2 and be looking for redemption!

(1-18-26) Austin Forkner had a scary moment during Q2 in San Diego. He ended up crashing in-between the rhythm lanes in what originally looked like a somewhat uneventful crash. That is until his bike came back around and clipped him in the back. Given Austin’s injury history and the crash he sustained in 2024, this was a pretty scary sight. Austin was taken to the hospital for further evaluation after experiencing lower back pain, thankfully everything checked out. Austin did opt out of racing that night but should be back to the racing action this weekend in Anaheim!

(1-21-26) Logan Karnow went down in the 450 LCQ while trying to navigate the main rhythm section. Unfortunately he suffered a broken collar bone, a torn cc ligament in his shoulder as well as multiple broken ribs. He had surgery Wednesday and is now on the mend.

(1-12-26) Malcom Stewart was caught up in an unfortunate incident at the start or the main event at A1. Ultimately Justin Barcia ended up landing on Stewart who suffered a dislocated shoulder and a broken shoulder blade. Later on in the week, Malcom and the team announced he would compete at the next round in San Diego. Malcom came out fresh off of his injury and scored a top 10 at San Diego. Malcom was visibly in pain throughout the night but it seems he intends on continuing to compete in the series as he recovers from his injuries.

(1-12-26) Justin Barcia got the worst of the collision between him and Malcom Stewart. Ultimately Barcia suffered a severe concussion as well as some fractures in his back and ribs. All things considered, he’s doing extremely well! He’s already working with Doc G. and going through rehab. A return timeline isn’t clear just yet but thankfully Justin’s Troy Lee Designs helmet and Alpinestars tech air chest protector did their jobs exceptionally well and we should see him back on the gate at some point this season!
